[Press]KHU Medical Science Research Institute Signs MOU with Itphy & Modern Pilates

The Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute announced on the 12th that it signed a tripartite MOU on the 19th of last month with Itphy, a musculoskeletal disease digital healthcare service company, and Modern Pilates, a Pilates franchise.

The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen mutual cooperation through joint research and development and educational activities, and to derive efficient results by utilizing expertise. Accordingly, they plan to take the lead in creating innovative results in the digital healthcare service field related to musculoskeletal diseases and in developing and disseminating Pilates instructor training programs equipped with medical expertise based on big data and artificial intelligence technology.

Yoon Kyeong-sik, Director of the Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute, stated, “If Kyung Hee University Medical Center, equipped with excellent research personnel and infrastructure, Itphy, possessing advanced technological capabilities, and Modern Pilates, a world-renowned Pilates educational institution, come together to combine expertise in each field, it will be a great help in developing new technologies and services.” He added, “I hope that the establishment of a platform connecting users, medical staff, and customized Pilates exercises utilizing Itphy's ‘RingDoc’ will be evaluated as an innovative model in terms of digital health industrialization.”
