Digital healthcare company Itphy announced on the 13th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute (Director Yoon Kyeong-sik) for joint research cooperation on musculoskeletal diseases. Through this agreement, the Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute plans to introduce Itphy's AI-based digital healthcare service 'RingDoc' to research and clinical sites and apply it to actual patient treatment and rehabilitation processes.

RingDoc is a digital healthcare service that provides personalized exercise solutions based on specialist diagnoses, optimized for the prevention and management of musculoskeletal diseases. Itphy and the Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute plan to enhance the accuracy and utility of the service using clinical data and provide a more precise and personalized healthcare experience to musculoskeletal patients.

Itphy Co-CEOs Rhee Sung-min and Lee Jae-jun stated, "We expect that healthcare solutions utilizing AI technology will create significant value in actual clinical settings through cooperation with the Kyung Hee University Medical Science Research Institute." They added, "We will continue to develop innovative services with user health as our top priority to create new standards in the healthcare market."

CEO Rhee Sung-min, as an actual orthopedic medical staff member, understands the importance of rehabilitation exercise deeper than anyone and is continuously researching to reflect this in practical treatment solutions. Since it provides exercise solutions optimized for the user's condition based on data verified in clinical settings, the persistence rate of rehabilitation exercise and recovery speed are high, proving user satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Itphy has been recognized for its technological prowess and growth potential in the digital healthcare field, attracting 300 million KRW in seed investment from Korea Investment Accelerator. In addition, through strategic cooperation with domestic medical and fitness companies, it plans to solidify the B2H (Business to Hospital) market while expanding its business into the B2C (Business to Consumer) area in the future to increase service accessibility and utilization.
