Digital healthcare specialist Itphy announced on the 24th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Narsha Hospital in Busan on the 23rd for the 'advancement of rehabilitation treatment for patients with musculoskeletal diseases'.

Through this agreement, Narsha Hospital will introduce Itphy's AI-based digital healthcare service 'RingDoc' into its hospital treatment and rehabilitation programs. Through this, they plan to establish a customized rehabilitation exercise prescription system based on individual patient physical conditions and diagnostic data, and maximize treatment effects.

RingDoc is a service directly developed by practicing orthopedic specialists, providing exercise solutions optimized for the prevention of musculoskeletal pain and the non-surgical recovery process. In particular, it is proving its effectiveness in increasing the exercise persistence rate of patients requiring long-term rehabilitation and improving treatment satisfaction.

Through this cooperation, Narsha Hospital is now able to provide a more precise and systematic rehabilitation environment by combining digital solutions with its existing treatment system. Itphy and Narsha Hospital plan to continuously improve the full-cycle integrated treatment model covering everything from musculoskeletal disease prevention to rehabilitation, alongside the advancement of digital healthcare technology based on accumulated patient clinical data.

Itphy CEO Rhee Sung-min stated, "As an orthopedic specialist, rehabilitation is an extension of treatment beyond simple exercise," adding, "We will substantially improve the recovery experience of musculoskeletal patients by applying digital solutions with proven effectiveness in clinical settings to the field."

Narsha Hospital Director Lee Dong-ki also conveyed, "Early response is key for musculoskeletal diseases, and if customized rehabilitation exercises through RingDoc before and after surgery are combined with hospital treatment, it will be of great help in accelerating the patient's recovery speed and advancing the time of return to daily life."

Meanwhile, Itphy has proven its technological prowess and marketability by attracting seed investment from Korea Investment Accelerator. Currently, it is rapidly expanding the B2H (Business to Hospital) market through strategic partnerships with major domestic hospitals and fitness companies. Moving forward, it plans to accelerate the popularization of digital healthcare by launching services for general consumers (B2C) in earnest.
