Itphy (Co-CEOs Rhee Sung-min, Lee Jae-jun) is a digital healthcare startup founded in 2022 by Rhee Sung-min, a professor of orthopedic surgery at Kyung Hee University Medical Center. Itphy has provided a digital rehabilitation platform that connects patient condition measurement, rehabilitation performance, and results back to medical treatment. The company aims to establish a new standard in post-treatment management through data-based rehabilitation and clinical support technologies specialized for musculoskeletal diseases.

Recently, Itphy is presenting a new standard for post-treatment rehabilitation management with its AI-based musculoskeletal rehabilitation platform, 'RingDoc'. RingDoc is a solution offering various functions centered on 'RingDoc Care' and 'RingDoc Motion'. RingDoc Care is a service where patients perform customized rehabilitation programs prescribed by medical staff via a mobile app. RingDoc Motion is a camera-based non-contact motion analysis solution that measures joint range of motion with 98.7% accuracy without wearable devices, enhancing the objectivity and consistency of medical history taking and functional evaluation.

As a result of operating with 400 rotator cuff repair patients for 6 months, the joint range of motion improved by an average of 20%, recording an 83.8% recommendation rate and 95% usability satisfaction. Utilization was particularly highest among patients in their 60s and older. Currently, it has been adopted by over 20 university hospitals, including Seoul National University Hospital and Samsung Medical Center, with over 3,000 cumulative prescriptions.

Itphy plans to expand its business into the AI-based clinical decision support sector centered on RingDoc AI. RingDoc AI is a hospital AI engine that integrates and analyzes patient imaging, clinical data, and data accumulated during the rehabilitation process to support pre-operative planning, prognosis prediction, surgical technique recommendation, and education. It assists medical staff's judgment based on AI and promotes business expansion into diagnosis and surgery.

Co-CEO Rhee Sung-min said, "RingDoc AI focuses on assisting medical staff's decision-making based on accumulated surgery and treatment data, and we will expand it into a platform encompassing pre- and post-treatment through linkage with rehabilitation data in the future." Co-CEO Lee Jae-jun stated, "As we have a structure expandable to various clinical areas such as image-based procedures and interventional treatments, we will grow into a healthcare AI platform usable in global medical markets for image data-based diagnosis, surgery, and procedures."
