This MOU was established to build an organic cooperation system between the Clinical Medical Research Institute and ITPHY, a hospital-born startup, to activate clinical research-based technology collaboration, joint R&D, and to create innovative achievements in the medical field.
The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including Director Yeo Seung-geun and Deputy Director Shim Jung-jae of the Clinical Medical Research Institute, ITPHY CEO Sung-Min Rhee (Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Kyung Hee University Hospital), and COO Jae-Jun Lee. They discussed the direction of cooperation and future joint research plans.
Specifically, both parties plan to pursue practical research cooperation connecting clinical sites with technology development through: โณSharing and utilizing medical data โณExchange of core medical technologies and joint R&D โณTraining medical experts and exchanging research personnel.
Director Yeo Seung-geun stated, "Through this mutual cooperation, we will enhance research achievements and related performance while establishing an exemplary case of collaboration between a hospital and a startup." He added, "This agreement will contribute to the advancement of medical technology and the revitalization of the digital healthcare industry."
